  • While Conscious Connected Breathing (CCB) is a beautiful and powerful practice, it may not be suitable for everyone at every stage of life. It’s important to approach this work with care, integrity, and responsibility.

    At this time, this practice is not recommended for:

    • Women who are pregnant – Due to the intensity and emotional release that may arise during a breathwork session, CCB is not advised during pregnancy. We honor this sacred season and recommend gentler, pregnancy-safe breathwork or meditation practices instead.

    • Individuals navigating severe mental health conditions – If you are currently experiencing conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (in an unstable phase), or other forms of severe mental illness, this style of breathwork may not be the best fit. These conditions often require more personalized, consistent care with a dedicated medical or therapeutic team.

    This is never a reflection of your strength, readiness, or worth. Everyone’s healing journey is unique, and we deeply respect where you are right now.

    Temperature Changes
    You may feel hot or cold as energy flows through the body.
    Tip: Dress in layers or have a blanket nearby for comfort.

    Tetany (Muscle Tightness or Cramping)
    Cramps in hands or feet can occur due to shifts in pH and oxygen levels.
    Tip: Soften your breath and stretch gently if needed.

    Dry Mouth or Throat
    Rapid breathing may cause dryness.
    Tip: Stay hydrated before and after your session.

    Shaking or Movement
    Your body may tremble or move involuntarily as it releases tension.
    Tip: Trust your body’s wisdom and allow it to move freely.

    Tingling or Numbness
    You might feel tingling in your hands, face, or feet—this is due to oxygen shifts and is generally harmless.
    Tip: Keep breathing and know it will pass naturally.

    Lightheadedness or Dizziness
    Breathing faster can cause temporary dizziness.
    Tip: Slow your breath and rest if needed.
